Mukad
Grotesque, sapient, and cruel. Mukads count themselves among the most dastardly of all the followers that serve the mysterious Aether Kindred. Mukads scrabble together deep underneath settlements across Etharis, the infestation awaits the return of their masters with feverous zeal.
Mukads bear the form of centipedes, larger than most humanoids. They possess tough, chitinous carapaces tined a deep greenish-black. Aside from the hundreds of legs that propel a Mukad forward, it possesses two clawed forelimbs and large mandibles. Their mandibles contain a potent paralytic poison, which renders its victim a perfect nesting ground for new mukad eggs. Mukad come in many shapes and sizes depending on their age and the position within the infestation's hierarchy. Mukad are also gifted with psionic abilities that allow them to communicate with eachother, and disorient and immobilize their enemies.
A skilled alchemist can concoct a distilled variant of the Mukad's paralytic poison
