In the year 2015, serendipity brought us together within the digital realms of a forum roleplaying site. Valyson, an exceptionally skilled writer and illustrator, wove a request thread into existence, in search of a creative partner to embody the empress of her sadistic and tyrannical emperor. The thread bore a simple yet profound question, "...can you handle it...?" And in that moment, I, a professional chef by trade, guided by an unwavering love for challenges, offered a resolute reply, "Sure! Why not?!" Little did I know that this foray into roleplay, a venture inspired by my daughter to aid in the retention of motor skills both before and after a craniotomy, would be the catalyst for a transformative journey. It was from this humble beginning that the seed of our book series, 'Empire of Ice,' was sown.
A mere year later, our collaborative spirit led us to co-found The Inner Sanctum: A Writing And Role-Playing Community. Within its virtual halls, writers of diverse styles and genres converged, forming a tapestry of creativity where we collectively crafted, critiqued, and reveled in the art of forum role-playing.
Simultaneously, in that same year, the maiden voyage of "Ruler Of The North" set sail as a webtoon, bearing witness to the fruits of our imaginative labor.
Fast forward to 2017, as we yearned to elevate our endeavors and propel "Empire of Ice" into a new era as a thriving enterprise, we breathed life into "Little Flower Productions." This creative sanctuary, proudly owned and operated by women of color, became the crucible where our dreams took tangible form.
In earnest, we extend an invitation to you to partake in the tapestry of our world—a world painted with the strokes of tyrants and heroes, where chaos dances in harmony with camaraderie, where love and folly entwine, and where dominance meets submission.
We welcome you to follow our journey, to subscribe and witness the unfolding of the epic saga that is the "Ruler Of The North" Series.
Thank you for gracing us with your presence.
With warm regards,
The Little Flowers,
Berlyn and Mia
