'Mae govannen'!   I am a 31 year-old ENFJ, Enneagram 4w3 living with my wife and dog in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am an American Sign Language Interpreter! I am independently contracted with language communication agencies in this region of the US, and work for Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind.   Other passions of mine that have found their chapters in my search for the right career include: Acting (theatrical and film background; lived in LA for a time working as a signed Actor; won the Improv category gold medal at an international talent/acting competition   Makeup Art (have experience in theatrical makeup, film, editorial, bridal, male, special effects/costume makeup, etc.; won the Midwest Battle of the Brushes makeup competition in Indianapolis, 2018).   I do a lot of art! Art is my longest, deepest passion- and I have drawn and designed since I can remember. My favorite mediums are oil paints, pen-and-ink, and using Procreate on my Ipad. (Note my watching eye in my profile picture...). I have created and produced maps for RPGs, designed an original board game with plans to market it and follow up with expansions, and one day dream to paint a full-sized, moody and classy, family portrait to hang over a fireplace in my home!   Other things that I enjoy: sewing, writing, world-building, reading, going to museums, my Faith, being part of the Queer community as a Bisexual Cis-Man, social justice and equality, board/card games, LARP, dressing up, Panda Express, Personality Psychology, The Myers Brigg's Personality System, The Enneagram, castles, classical/celtic music, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Wheel of Time series, fashion, animals, DMing and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS!!! (<- which is largely why I am here)   I am a long-time Dungeon Master (DM) and absolutely love world-building, roleplaying, and collaborative storytelling with other creatives. The first time I tried my hand at DMing was back around 2013 or so, and I've completed leading 3 full-term campaigns in my DM "career" thus far- each of them lasting about a year and a half: 1- Out of the Abyss/Homebrew, 2- Candlekeep Mysteries-influenced Homebrew, and 3- "Murder in Mjölnir"- a completely Homebrewed Viking-themed campaign which finished up in August 2023. I am currently running my 4th project- an online campain called "Shadows & Blood Ties: A Regencia Story" full of political intrigue, drama, and etiquette.
