I was 11 years old when I discovered the Empire World. I was just learning Dungeons & Dragons with a friend. 2nd Edition had just launched. The books still creaked when we opened them. Neither one of us really knew what we were doing. I lost the coin toss so I was DMing. He made a character and I drew up a map. It was a lake with three towns. Lake Town, West Gate, and Moriah’s Castle. It’s been such a long time since then. So many things are a blur now. Almost everything is different. How many wars have there been? How many campaigns? I’ve made so many friends here and have had so many adventures. I’m going to put it all here for you to enjoy. Maybe it’ll inspire you. Maybe it’ll seem familiar.
