She writes speculative fiction, focusing on the superhero and fantasy genres. Her goal is to bring a realistic, Christian view to these genres and weave stories that effectively suspend her readers' disbelief.   She lives in a rural area with trees that are not magical, although they seem so, and is currently enrolled in college. Her pet hamster is named Milo.
