By using this power, a psionicist can prevent another creature within range from teleporting. All forms of teleportation, both magical and psionic, are blocked by teleport lock. A creature attempting to teleport while under a teleport lock must win a psychic contest against the blocking psionicist, using its teleport score (or level for wizards) against the psionicist's teleport lock score. In addition to interfering with teleportation. this power also prevents magical or psionic blinking and plane shifting. Teleport lock does not prevent travel by dimensional doors or dimension walk, but does prevent shadow walking.
