As a reaction to an incoming attack, you may block with Inuaria's Lyre. You can use this reaction after the attack roll, but before the damage roll.

Make a Dexterity Saving Throw (starting at DC15 and increasing +2 on each use). On a successful saving throw, the incoming attack is blocked. On a failed saving throw, the lyre is broken. The lyre can be repaired during a long rest, but the player must expend the entire long rest time fixing the lyre. Once repaired, the DC resets to 15. Certain extraordinary circumstances can permanently destroy Inuaria's Lyre.
