Excal-heim
Second Sun
7-level Evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 150 ft
Components: V, S
Duration: 1 turn
A ravenous white streak of energy flies from your fingertips to a point of your choice within range, creating a small white globe upon impact.
This globe emits a 60-foot radius zone of silence and a monochromatic field* until the end of the caster's next turn.
At the start of the caster's next turn, the globe erupts into a massive explosion.
Every creature within a 60-foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw.
Any creature within a 10-foot radius automatically fails this save.
On a failed save, a creature takes 7d10 fire + 7d10 radiant damage or half as much damage on a successful one.
All nonmagical structures and objects that aren’t being worn or carried within the blast radius are vaporized.
The explosion leaves a 15-foot-deep crater in its wake which is considered difficult terrain.
Any creature still alive within the blast radius lands prone within the crater.
Ascended Spell. This spell costs 2 Spell slots to cast; A 7th-level spell slot and a 6th-level spell slot. Additionally, it can be learned by any class but must be learned from an ascended tome.
*The color/shade of the monochromatic field is up to the caster, be it red and orange, dark and light blue, or the classic black and white.
