Battle Damaged -
After his fight with Vesk at Aasir's Bar, Ares is missing a few of his original parts and some essential ones that may have to be replaced later with whatever he can find.   Missing Left Eye: Although this does not prevent his ability to zoom his remaining camera and view things clearly at a distance, it increases all Difficulties in Close Range by 1 due to a lack of depth perception.   Missing Right Arm: Ares cannot perform two handed tasks, although special reinforcements are installed in his remaining arm that allows him to still wield two-handed weapons. This also lowers the Fire Rate of all weapons he is wielding by 2.   Damaged Voice Modulator: Destroyed by Vesk's claws, Ares has been rendered unable to speak until a new one can be acquired.   Short Circuited: Ares has lost large chunks of his memory, including much of his original mission in the region and the location of his Institute handler and the other synth asset. Other data includes regional intelligence gathered by his previous owners that could prove useful were the delicate parts to be repaired.
More than Human (not bio-engineered) -
You gain one additional tag skill. You cannot suffer from starvation or dehydration and do not need sleep, but you do not gain a benefit from consuming food or beverage items.   When you rest, instead of sleeping, you may engage in minor activities such as crafting, reading, or light scouting.   Additionally, you are immune to Poison and Radiation damage and disease. You do not age, nor do you gain or lose weight.   When interacting with NPCs who know you are a synth—unless they are sympathetic towards synths—the difficulty of CHA tests made by you or your allies increases by 2. When a complication is rolled, they either become hostile, or your Faction Reputation or Settlement Reputation decreases by 1 per complication generated due to their fear of the Institute.
Prototype -
Design experimentation has left Ares with several pros and cons unique to his model.   Increase Carry Capacity to 500 lbs, Ares is also able to wield two-handed weapons with one hand.   (LOCKED) Ares takes his first extra major action each turn for free so long as both are used to make an attack, (increasing the difficulty as usual). This counts as spending AP for perk purposes, but he cannot benefit from the 'Take Aim' minor action. When taking two major actions this way, Ares loses his minor action and ends his turn directly after the second attack.   Due to the focus in combat efficiency Ares cannot tag non-combat Skills or increase them beyond 4. His Charisma can never raise above 4 but he gains an additional 2 points of Strength and Endurance, which raises their maximum values to 12 in turn.   Ares is counted as a robot and cannot benefit from chems or first aid, and he must be repaired to regain HP. He may however take certain perks not intended for robots as well as Pain Train without needing to be inside Power Armor. He cannot wear armor and must use robot armor plating to increase his DR but cannot use any other type of robot module.
