Witchborn

Followers of the Old Ways and the Witch God Vezenar, these Kenku are somewhat free from the curse that plagues the rest of their kind, retaining their own voices and not having to rely on mimicry. Though they have some knowledge of Witchcraft, most do not attempt to become witches; rather, many strive to become guardians and attendants of great witches or simply help the swamp villages they call home to thrive.   Witchborn Kenku are lankier than their Seertouched cousins, often decorate their feathers with dyes and paints, and adorn themselves with bones and trinkets crafted by their elders. These Kenku are often merrier than their cousins and live as free spirits. Though they are fewer in number than the Seertouched, they make up for what they lack with strong community bonds and rich ancestral history.
