You create a burst of air pressure that affects a 20-foot radius of a point within range. Creatures within the radius must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 4d8 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.   In addition, the burst creates a vacuum effect within the radius for the duration, suffocating creatures within it and silencing the area. Creatures within the radius cannot speak or use sound-based spells or abilities and take 1d8 bludgeoning damage at the end of each of its turns from choking, if it needs to breathe to survive.
