You launch a small piece of stone towards a creature within range. Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage and you can impose one of the following effects on the target:

It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn.
You push the creature up to 5 feet in any direction, except upwards or directly towards you.

The spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th Level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8)
