You create a massive chasm in the ground. Choose a
point within range, and a 20-foot-wide, 60-foot-long,
and 40-foot-deep chasm opens up in the ground. Any
creature standing in the area must make a Dexterity
saving throw, falling into the chasm and taking 8d6
bludgeoning damage on a failed save. On a successful
saving throw, a creature instead clings to the edge of
the chasm, taking no damage and not falling inside.
When the spell ends, the chasm collapses in on
itself, reverting the ground to its previous form. All
conscious creatures inside are pushed upwards as the
chasm collapses and safely lands on solid ground.
Unconscious creatures are not pushed, and are instead
trapped within the ground.
