If you fail at an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, you can choose to roll 1d8 and add it to the roll, possibly turning it into a success. You regain the use of this ability after a short or long rest. If the roll was an attack roll and this ability turns it into a hit, you deal extra fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
