One of the longest lived races in the known world as lent elves to have a long reaching sight that can come across as aloof or distant. For an elf the end of a city while a sad event is likely something they have seen many times with the younger, faster races.  

Child names

An elf must earn their full name, before this point they use a simpler name that marks their immatureity. Ironically this is the name many will use with other races that struggle with saying proper elf names. Unlike other races elves are only considered adults when they declare themselves one, this is normally after a time of training and refinement to become a useful member of the community. This causes the adverage age of maturity to be just after their 100th birthday.   Child names: Ara, Bryn, Del, Eryn, Faen, Innil, Lael, Mella, Naill, Naeris, Phann, Rael, Rinn, Sai, Sylln, Thia, Vall, or other shortened versions of a full name such as Thia being for Theirastra.

With their unearthly grave and fine features, elves appear hauntingly beautiful to many other races, this can instead make them appear weak and sleight to the larger races.
