These spells should be far too powerful for a normal person to use, how the casters aren't torn into a million pieces is still unknown.
Ascended Spells are very powerful but cost 2 Spell slots to cast, one of the spells level and one just below.
Ascended Spells can be learned by any class but must be learned from an ascended tome.
Learning them does not count against your total number of spells known and they do not need to be prepared.
