Description: The standoffish wastrilith, or water lords, inhabit watery parts of the Lower Planes (and, rarely, other planes), content in their isolation. Though they have no apparent magical power over other creatures, they intimidate undersea denizens so much that even unintelligent creatures serve them. Wastrilith are horrendous creatures with jaws full of needle-sharp teeth. Their bulging eyes give them the appearance of leering fish with humanoid torsos.   The Hit Die of the Warlock Summon is equal to the level of the Warlock Summoning it. The Thac0 & Saving throws progresses with the monsters hit die as well.

Demonic Mutations:

The summon gains a mutation at levels 6, 8,10, 14, and 20.

Improved Armor:

Improves armor class by 3. Can be taken multiple times.

Second Claw:

The demon grows an additional claw allowing for the creature to make two claw attacks in one round. Deals 1d8 slashing damage

Shark Jaws: (Requires Second Claw)

The demon's head grows a gaping maw reminiscent of a great white shark. It allows the demon to make a third attack in a round. Deals 1d12 slashing damage.

Electric Rebound:

When targeted with an electric attack 50% chance that the attack is reflected back at the attacker.

Breath Weapon:

The wastrilith gains the ability to breathe a blast of boiling water three timers per day in a cone 30' long with a 10' diameter base (3d10 damage). The victims are entitled to a save vs. Breath. If the save is successful they take half damage.

Water Elemental Control:

Water Elementals will never attack the wastrilith. The wastrilith gains a 50% chance of wrestling control over a water elemental from its summoner if it comes within 100' of it. The wastrilith can attempt to take control as a free action. It can only attempt to take control on one particular water element once.     Habitat/Society: Wastrilith are territorial and do not allow other powerful creatures to establish themselves nearby. Once they have established their territory, they do not stray far from it. They protect what is theirs and don’t meddle in matters outside their territory. Many are found on the 88th level of the Abyss, the Maw of Demogorgon, a watery plane that is dark and cold.   Wastrilith require no conventional food or drink, but they enjoy devouring creatures foolish enough to venture near their homes. They leave the remains outside to feed sharks and warn away other curiosity seekers.
