Gauntlet of the Arcane Key

A light weight gauntlet crafted from an unknown silver colored metal that covers the back of the left hand and wrist without obstructing the palm or fingers. It is covered in etchings and carved out channels that seem like multiple pieces should fit into them.

Arcane Prowess. While wearing this artifact, you gain proficiency in Arcana.

Arcane Resistance. While wearing this artifact, you gain proficiency in Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma saving throws.

Knowledge of the Ages. While wearing to this artifact, your Intelligence score is increased by 2, to a maximum of 22.

Curse. This artifact is cursed. Attuning to it curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic. Removing the gauntlet fails to end the curse on you. While cursed in this way you feel a duty to collect all pieces of the whole and then return them to their original creator. Up to one time per day that you willingly disregard this duty, you take 5d10 psychic damage. This includes actions such as choosing not to collect a missing piece whose location you are aware of or giving a piece of the gauntlet, or the gauntlet itself, to anyone who is not the original creator.

Once all pieces are collected, every day you maintain possession of the gauntlet without returning it to the original creator also constitutes a willing violation of this duty.
