I open a small window and space and peer through it to see three sisters talking amongst each other at a large table. I can’t help but let myself make a small frown; they don’t seem to have discovered yet that their actions are misguided. I sigh as I watch the three discuss their plans.

The woman in a mask had already begun speaking while I was thinking, so I did my best to pay attention.

“-th, can I trust you two to do this?”

“Of course we can, it gonna be so easy to get that dragon under control, as long as that Bird and Outsider don’t show up again!” The hooded woman said excitedly

The third sister nodded. “I don’t even think I’ll need to be present for this mission either, I’m sure I could do more help if I assisted General Strova on the front lines in the Eastlands.”

The Masked woman looked in her direction for a moment before speaking again. “Fine, just don’t screw this up,” she looked to the hooded woman “, and make sure our parents perish there aswell Claire, This plan only works if I’m Queen.”

Claire Nodded enthusiastically “Don’t worry about that at all, in fact, I hope those two do show up, then I can get them to do the killing for me, bet it would be fun to watch.”

The Masked woman nodded to her answer. “Good, then leave and get that handled, I have my own preparations to make before the end of the month.” She turned to the third sister. “I need you to make sure that the paladins are completely on our side, this war will be impossible to lose if our own armies and theirs join together.”

“I’ll see it done” The third sister bowed before stepping into a door to one side and disappearing, leaving Claire and the Masked woman

“Welp, imma go ahead and leave to. Catch you around sis, don’t do anything to crazy now, wanna have to try and upstage you.” Claire didn’t wait for a response as she waved and teleported away.

I sigh in disappointment. Their grand plans and lofty ambitions have blinded them to just how terrible their actions are. I truly don’t understand how they can’t see these signs; so causally speaking of assassinating their own parents and inciting a war that didn’t need to continue. I shake my head, as I close the window. Maybe as they continue and they see just how terrible their actions are making the world, they’ll change paths and improve. I can only hope.
