What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I'd love to have the option for a global full width footer. We have global options for all of the sidebar sections and the copyright section. But not the footer ones.   Currently, I put a list of which books and stories my article topics appear in. To do this I put a bit of bbcode and a statblock into each full width footer.   For example: In my Umeji Tatsuya character article (WAYYYYY at the bottom of the page...)

I show that Umeji appears in my 2 books and 2 of the short stories I've written. I have the css for the book list setup so that when I tag the article the relevant book or stories appear in the full width footer.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

It would be great to have that bit of bbcode automatically on my pages. Then I could just tag the article and the books/stories show up at the bottom of the article.  

What are other uses for this feature request?

Other authors may find this useful.   Also here are a few other ideas:

RPGs could have a little reference section at the bottom of articles. What relates to what. A list of NPCs in a band, related stat blocks, etc.

Options for CYA books (and show them by tag)

Authors and RPG designers: A statblock with a list of characters by book or adventure.

  I'd consider writing up a tutorial of what I did for my book/story list to help others utilize a global full width footer section, if it would help.
