What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently, there is no way to like a comment. If I want to express that I read the comment, I will need to write an answer, but sometimes there isn't much I would say. I think that a "like" or "heart" button will convey the fact that we read the comments and that we appreciated without having to write an answer.How does this feature request address the current situation?
It makes sharing love easier.What are other uses for this feature request?
It clears the guilt of my mind of having to give an answer that is not repetitive but, at the same time, acknowledges the existence of a comment and express my gratitude.

I understand that comments sometimes don't need a long answer, but personally I find it more personal to write a quick thank you for someone taking the time to comment an article. Just my opinion.

No. But tjtrewin's suggestion of the FontAwesome icons completely stole my heart. That would be ADORABLE. Have a bunch of coins!
