What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I share links to articles with my players often in a D&D campaign. If they aren’t logged in on their device, the article link sends them to the login page (understandably). This can happen often since they are primarily using mobile...and it appears that WA auto-log-outs users on mobile devices fairly quickly. But after they log in, they are not directed to the page that I linked. Instead, they go to their World Anvil home page. Then they have to go back to the link and click it again, or try to navigate themselves to the page I intended them to see (this is often not straightforward).How does this feature request address the current situation?
If the site would direct the user to the originally linked page after logging in, it would address the current situation. Similar to how many other web sites operate.What are other uses for this feature request?
This request simply handles the global issue described above. Note that there is a slightly similar...but fairly old...request: "LOGIN REDIRECT TO WORLD HOMEPAGE" https://www.worldanvil.com/community/voting/suggestion/0f1e2a98-efcb-492a-9a4c-ed94df422b33/view That request had a fair amount of support, and was "accepted" 3 years ago. But obviously has not been implemented. However, that request stated that the end user should end up on the home page of the world. I believe the user should end up at the page the original link was pointed to.Follow up

on 2024-05-20 18:54Agreed, Login Redirection would be super helpful. Not only for users, but for authors as well, who have specific bookmarks or apps that direct them to certain pages, only to get sent to home after logging in.
