Supporting Cast
The Grand Duchy of Geoff, western-most of the kingdoms of the Sheldomar Valley, is home to many human and demi-human settlements. Situated between mountains to the west and vast forests both north and south, Geoff is a fertile and rich land often drawing jealous eyes from neighbours both seen and unseen.   Spirewall, once known as Hochoh in the tongue of the local wood elves, is a large riverport town second only to the capital city of Gorna from where the Grand Duke of Geoff himself reigns. It is a bustling, industrious settlement of several thousand souls, centered around the busy riverside wharfs and docks, ruled over from a modest castle, the Spire, from which the town takes its name. Life here, compared to many other places, could be considered comfortable, predictable and, most would say, safe, but Spirewall itself is destined to play a part in future events far greater than its humble status may suggest.   Events that will shape not only the future of the Grand Duchy, or even of the Sheldomar Vale, but perhaps the whole world of Oerth itself.   This tale, then, follows the fortunes and fates of some of the notable factions, characters and powers that inhabit the town and lands nearby, and shall explore how they came to be, came to do and came to pass as the winds of fortune and war dictated to them.   Our players take the stage as the protagonists, and it is upon them that our eyes rest as the curtain opens and the story begins...
