Session 18/08 - Back in Red Larch Report

General Summary

The adventurers are back in Red Larch, and as they wake up on the day of the next glowing sun, they see that the lighting outside has a faint red-ish tint to it.   Read Act 5: Under the Influence , for the introduction.   During this session, the party ventured out to sell some items, passing by both Vallivoe's Sundries, where Endrit Vallivoe gladly would buy their items. However, he haggled, as he's one of the few people that isn't influenced by the talk of the adventurers.   He lets them know of some people in stone masks who have been eyeing out the quarry at night, making it uncomfortable for quarry workers. They've now completely stopped working night shifts, and the party said they would take and investigate. Endrit, and the party hopes that this could help their reputation in town, redeeming them for the long haul.   They also passed by Gaelkur's shop, where Gimble managed to befriend the shopkeeper, buying scrap from him.   Later on, they investigated the quarry, starting to speak to a person who works there. From their intuition, they could tell that the person was more surprised, rather than angry for seeing them. He fumbled his words, and he tried to persuade the party of not knowing anything of it.   The party also questioned the shop keeper of the quarry about this, who initially lied about any happenings. He later on agreed that it has been disturbing for the workers, to be watched by the stone masked figures, and appreciate the party's intention to help. He did not have any more information to offer.   With some preventative measures, Golodt discovered a tunnel under a hatch in the back room of the quarry shop. However, they left it for the time being, leading to further investigation later on. In the meanwhile, while waiting for the sun to go down, they went and bought a good quality wagon, by fooling the owner, making him think that he sold wagon scrap for a good bargin.   Bringing the wagon back to the Inn, they departed to investigate the quarry. However, there were nothing to find here. The only thing they noiced, was the quarry shop's light being turned off, without anyone exiting the shop. For a while, the party discuss the morality of breaking into someones property without any good reasons, and ended up leaving the shop after accidentially breaking the doow.   They cast "Alarm" on the area of the quarry, so they could be notified of any movement in the area. They then proceeded by going to bed, ending their day.
