Where am I?...

General Summary

A lonely tree floats through space, isolated from everything it once had. The tree itself is larger than a city, and within it, thousands of citizens roam. The tree once had hundreds of thousands of worlds within its branches, but all had been lost when The Threat closed in. In order for the tree to save itself and its numerous worlds, its only option was the sever the connection between the worlds, which would slow down the destruction of The Threat. This was the World Tree .   Soon after, a group of six people, summoned from various worlds, appeared at the edge of the World Tree. These are the Saviors. The Saviors are destined to bring the world together and stop The Threat once and for all. Once the Saviors arrived, the tests had already begun. The Saviors were greeted by several of the Guardians in their style; trying to eliminate the intruders. The Saviors quickly managed to disable the Guardians and proved themselves in the first test, which meant that they could at last be shown into the World Tree.   A Gardener lead the Saviors to the base of the World Tree. On their way, they passed a few of the several hundred gardens that surround the World Tree. Once they reached the base of the tree, the Gardener communed with the World Tree and created an entrance. The Gardener then lead the Saviors around the tree, showing off the various work-spaces of the Gardeners, the Living City, and finally the branches of the World Tree. Within the branches were giant budding flowers, too many count. As one of the Saviors touched a flower bud, she received a vision of a world, as if viewed from space, within the flower.   Finally, the Gardener brought the Saviors to the roots of the tree in order to meet the Keepers. The Keepers explained everything that was happening to the Saviors. They explained how the World Tree had given up everything to protect the worlds, a sacrifice beyond measure. They explained that the Saviors are destined to reunite the worlds, but also how those very actions can lead to The Threat returning. They explained that when The Threat returned, they need to be ready. Finally, they offered the Trials of the Keepers. If the Saviors were to stop The Threat, they must at least be strong enough in heart, mind, and body to pass the Trials, and if not, then they were doomed to fail before they even tried.   The Saviors headed back up to the Living City where the first Gardener they met was waiting. It had prepared a home for the Saviors, a place where they could rest and gather strength in between adventures. That is where the Saviors would stay for the night, waiting for the next day to tackle the Trials of the Keepers. How will they fare in their newfound journey?
