The captain of The Vagabond is a tall human man, thin, in his early middle years, with narrow, piercing blue eyes, short stubble, and a receding hairline in the corners of his dark hair. More often than not, Captain Gace will reply to being addressed with nods, shakes of his head, or silent facial expressions. When he does speak, on occasion, he is a champion of brevity, never saying in ten words what can be said in one or two.
