Episode Twenty-one - Bureau of Secrets Report

General Summary

Near end war, the team is sent to Boise, Idaho to find out why five children have gone missing during the Pumpkin Festival. The team stopped in to ask Capt. Natalie Brooks about the situation. The team then have Det. Egor take them to the Moore's home but see little Elsie Warner's mother and speak with her first. She's a gossiping slut from Freedom City, NC with vines growing up her house to her daughter's window from the pumpkin patch behind it. The vines are impervious. The team sends Egor to go get gas for potential pumpkin burning. The team then knock on the door of Richard Moore. What the team didn't know was that his kid and the others had been captured by him as the Pumpkin King, possessed by a symbiotic alien. When the party went to speak with little Jimmy Moore, they found a Jack Be Little in the room. Alvin, at the same time, found a Jack Be Little in the field. Soldier choked out the Jack Be Little in Jimmy's room, who turned out to be Ryan after the stem was knocked off. Alvin gets attacked by a Jack Be Little as the Pumpkin King charges but from 240 feet with a Colt 1911 Charles strikes the King after Alvin's shot but it keeps coming. It attacks Alvin with both viney arms crushing him as another distant shot from Charles plants in his hip. Soldier headlocks the Pumpkin ultimately taking it down before it dies. They see some of the black goo from the alien craft that created the pumpkin situation hop into a black cat nearby before it runs away. The Bureau of Oddities then, as an experiment as the entire team watched, erased the memories of Cowboy, Sarge, and Soldier and placed back into the war with no knowledge of their time in the Bureau of Oddities.
