Session X: Battle Royal Report

General Summary

The session skipped a few days ahead, where the group gathered at equipment class. All the freshmen were participating, and professor Gurtan led everyone to the basement level, where battle ensued. There, the rules were given: you'll be given 12 seconds (2 rounds) to move and position yourself, then, with the room's enchantment to marked anyone hit with paint rather than injury, each is expected to survive and take the others out. Use your environment and watch for contraptions. The goal: for each to discover what comes natural to them on the battlefield.   Some of the other students were taken out in a single round, making it so they will need to have a make up session. Everyone in dorm A lasted a long while, even after Flip tripped the switch to let paint out of the pipes in many exits (taking a few out). Jolie took Marcus out and then played it cautious and safe, Demitri hid and laid down electric traps while Flip navigated the labyrynth of walls and Lilli connected with her inner badass, running up a cover to ambush Yvanna. Flip nearly had his cool move but Demitri spotted him and took him out. All of Dorm A were in the top 5 left, and only Ari of the other dorms left for a final battle with the rest. He took out Lilli, and was then ended by Jolie, who was the last person standing.   Clout and congratulations had, the group returned to their dorm, talking and chatting about the day's battle. It was there that a sad news awaited, as Demitri informed the party that he had a lead on the origins of their people they simply couldn't ignore, and education would have to hold. And so, they left, bidding everyone warm goodbyes and farewells.   Reeling, the group talked to each other, gently and confrontationally. There was tension, pain and bonding a plenty. Lilli informed Jolie that even if they sometimes sucked the air out of the room, they still liked them very much. It wasn't taken as well as it was meant. Still, they all recovered and became, a little closer for it. Friendship was openly established and spoken, and set in stone.   END GAME
