Session 005: Fire Brigade Report
General Summary
Spending some time shopping, Midnight Squad got the basics of what they needed. Giving a shopping list to Theron they went to check out a water containment facility. Commander Hadiya Najiri warned them about some birds who like using shiny things for their nests.
They went to the facility & four birds took to the air & began to dive bomb Midnight Squad, stealing many of their items (comms, IDENT's [dog tags], & grenades). They put them on their nest at the top of the funnel of the water containment facility. Their were two stairs going to them, the south west one was slippery with lots of water on it. The north one was clear.
The birds were defeated & Remu went to check on the controls, finding one terminal that was unlocked he went to use it, & it exploded. Rivet & Fumbles looked at it & discovered evidence of a pipe bomb, & took pictures of the scene. The controls were reset & the water started to drain. The wet stair had less water on it, & the sabotage was undone.
Commander Hadiya Najiri ordered Midnight Squad to help with an apartment fire. They went their & found two Human & a Shirren. They went into the five floor building, the first two floors were completely engulfed, causing a backdraft when opening the doors to the hall.
Remu found a charred body in the first floor, Ahnje L'Treaux & Fumbles helped some Ysoki down from a third floor window. An 8 bulk unconscious Ysoki was brought down with Ahnje who was it's cushion, & took the damage for it. Fumbles went down with the mother holding her child, after some convincing. The child was able to stay on & survived hitting Fumbles on the ground.
Negaflare was preventing the spread of five by using a fire extinguisher.
