House Party Report
General Summary
So the giants dead, Vance got his shit rocked, and Daelen freed the bird man. His name is Zeed. An Arcanozoologist who was approached by Skirka for a job maintaining the Menagerie. Once Zeed saw the condition of the torture basement he tried to back out. How ever Skirka just put him in a cell. The poor Aarocockra was forced to help the beasts and eventually became Skirka’s new punching bag once he was no longer allowed access to “The Subject.”
Meanwhile Oozy Jeff examined the desks, feed, and torture tools laid out in the corner. In doing so he found laminated instructions for care of “The Subject.” Once Zeed told them about the mysterious “doctors” that would visit the final cell and the screams he “knew too well,” the group turned their attention to the cell with a higher security lock. Jeff oozed through a gap in the door and found this cell to be a sterile operating room. Huddled in the corner was a young woman, missing three fingers on her left hand and having had her right hand amputated. Her head was shaved and filled with cybernetics. A magical glow pulsed from beneath the hospital gown.
Insinoori popped the lock like it was nothing. Jeff introduced the group to the skittish “subject” that was once Megan Clark. She spoke using telepathy. Zeed noped the fuck outta their. Insinoori tried to shake the woman’s hand. After an awkward moment Megan smiled and shook her hand using her two remaining fingers. While the party was comforting, getting to know Megan and putting flowers in her hair behind her ears they lights were cut. 4 security guards enter from the villa. Roll initiative.
The fight starts out promising enough. The party all prepare in the dark. One guard rushes into the blinding darkness, not wearing goggles or bothering to turn on a light, and completely misses Elsari. Oozy Jeff flattens themself on the steps waiting for a chance to strike. Another guard pops a glow stick and tosses it down the steps. After the others attack, the Guard Captain enters from the other end of the Menagerie and shoots Daelen in the dark. Elsari bisects someone. Vance fumbles his way into a kill. Insinoori blasts a guard through the temple. Everybody moves the help Daelen with the Tiefling Captain. After Vance makes a comment about the Captain being a “leather daddy in a dungeon,” Insinoori turns them into a literal fire crotch. Just a pile of ash below the belt the devilborn dies of shame… and lasers.
When the party is about to enter the villa, Vance hears one of the gang nervously wait near the trapdoor. One casting of “gust of wind” later, the goon is at the bottom of the stairs and begging Elsari for his life. She asks if Megan has seen him before. Megan nods and another one bites the dust.
The Party starts to explore the Villa. They happen upon crates of pop up books to teach children about The Dawnfather. Insinoori also notices they have hidden compartments. Two thugs guard the door to Skirka’s room. They try to leave through the front door but Megan unleashes some of her power.
They finally find Skirka, clad in a robe, cowering in his Sending Station. Vance punches him with a bag full of drugs. After another hit he goes under. Elsari notices a black folder bearing a gray sun on it. Daelen grabs a bear skin rug to wrap up the rich boy.
They got the creep. Now they take his Jeep.
Off to the trial in the trash.
