Trial in the Trash Heap Report

The gang searches the compound for Eomas but find no trace of him. Insinoori arms the bomb while Daelen causes flowers to appear around it. Jeff drives pretty well.   They get to the abandoned junk yard. Binx and Reynes are both disguised and acting very cryptically. Elsari calls them out on their unnecessary risk and dramatic flair.    Lt. Reynes prepares for the trial. He will be Judge. The party will act as the prosecution.  Reynes has found Eomas and makes him work as Skirka’s defense. Megan is a witness. The rats are Skirka’s jury.   The prosecution begins their examination. Skirka laughs it off. Daddy will protect him after all. Jeff extends a pseudopod, spins around and slaps Long repeatedly. Long offers to pay the party. Daelen send him to the ground with one punch. The big bad kingpin of Ry-af III starts to crawl towards Insinoori. Some molded earth keeps him in place. He still begs Insinoori to let him go for money, political power, anything she wants. Elsari’s mage hand picks him up by the chin to help him stand. His ankles snap and he falls back to the ground. He shouts he will do what ever Sangdeloup and The Syndicate want him to do.    The examination starts to yield results. Asking about the folder frightens Skirka. He warns the party to just forget they ever found it. They instead press harder and Skirka spills all he can. His dad recommended him to these people. They’d pay Skirka handsomely for the use of his facilities and Megan. They always came dressed in hazmat suits except for the half-elf. He wore fine suits and was referred to as Mr. Johnson. Three fingers poorer and Skirka fingers Eomas for planning Megan’s torture.   The defense rests then loses his hand and other things. The judge passes his sentence. He pulls out the exact same laser pistol Skirka killed the little girl with and offers it to Megan. She hesitates. Halden wraps her remaking fingers around the gun and causes her to shot Skirka. Reynes’ men take Eomas away to prep for “his mission.”  Binx starts to bury Reynes Skirka in a shallow grave.    Reynes takes the party to their new ship. It is a rusty ass cargo shuttle filled with crates of textiles. He pays the party then asks if they want to hear about job #2. They say yes. He doesn’t have a lot of info. Just meet with his old informant Sivjolos. The code is “a number 3 no mayo no tomato.” Sivjolos will get them info on what ever it is the Republic is looking for. The party must find said item and get it off planet. Their reward will be a forgotten Republic cruiser that definitely out shines the space uhaul.   Now the only remaining question is who gets to drive the thing.
