Session 21: The Brown Wedding. Report

General Summary

  • Gertrude prepared the miners for a potential revolution.
  • Ernesto went over and warned Freya about wtf was going on with the Stillcrests.
  • Ernesto visited the Quartermaster Edgar.
  • Quartermaster said he'd help in return for a pendant.
  • They go back to the Bucklebee place.
  • Meria goes out to get the Beggar's Rest bandits.
  • 3 Bucklebees remain behind.
  • Ernesto and Gertrude go out to get the pendant and try to delay the wedding. Gertrude makes a distraction while Ernesto goes inside the Stillcrest's home and steals the pendant. He sets it on fire on his way out.
  • This starts an awful commotion and the guards are brought up.
  • The two escape back to the Bucklebee place where the matriarch and two older gents are setting up an oil trap.
  • A few hours later the Bucklebee burrow is broken into and a few soldiers die to the fires.
  • A soldier comes down and fights the five people. Verna is gravely injured and they leave the burrow through the exit.
  • Verna is escorted to the edge of the woods.
  • Ernesto and Gertrude climb over the wall where he'll see all the miners being rounded up.
  • Ernesto shoots his shot and tries to buy time.
  • Gertrude hops over the fence and gets ready...
