Session 176: Fury & Farewell

General Summary

  After tempers had settled, the Dragon Punchers brought Mani up to date on the situation and let her in on the plan. She, aided by Fury's Hellsquad, was to assist in getting refugees out of Ilester and transported to the University. Meanwhile, the party would use Ocklyn Seith's knowledge to sneak into the Dawnforge, collect any supplies they could find, and hopefully find information on Messeneth's wand, the Twilight Spire, or other items of note.   Jinn and Bart each took time in the evening to spend time with the princess.  Jinn introduced her to the refugees they'd rescued, reminding her of the very real human cost of all that they were doing.  Bart, on the other hand, simply enjoyed Mani's company and allowed her to fill him in on all the Mara'hid gossip and wedding plans.   Both intentionally avoided the subject of the Dragon Punchers' upcoming mission.   In the morning the fallout from Jinn's rash choice became apparent. Two large bumps, tender to the touch, had sprouted on his forehead overnight. It seemed the prince's death had enabled Beshaba to wrest more control over her host, manifesting in the beginnings of a set of horns. To hide these, Chari subjected the rogue to a headband which read "I make bad decisions". Jinn wore the indignity with little fuss.
