Session 154: Mimics & Meat

General Summary

Coming down through the mountains the group happened across signs of life: a small set of homes not too far off a lightly worn trail.  After camping in the snow for several days, the prospect of a warm room was extremely enticing.     Upon closer inspection nobody appeared to be home.  The Dragon Punchers went inside to investigate whether the homes had been abandoned, or if the owners were merely out.  Something about the building's interior was off.  Furniture pieces seemed to be fused to the floor and everything was covered with a soft, velvety coating.   By the time they realized that elements of the house had grown sticky, it was too late.  The enormous mimic's trap had been sprung.  They were being eaten.  Fury's Hellsquad looked on in a combination of awe and horror as the Dragon Punchers fought their way out of the creature.     Following the ordeal Chari and Al’ethera Nemetsk-Daywind elected to continue a time-honored Dragon Puncher tradition and put up a cautionary sign for any other passers-by.
