Session 93: Clouds & Cave-ins
General Summary
With Jinn on one side of the ley line and the rest of the party on the other, the group began to explore their surroundings. The tunnels led them to evidence of a series of warrens likely inhabited by goblinoids of some sort. While investigating, they were beset by bizarre, alien creatures that consumed flesh and liquefied bone. The source of the strange remains encountered in the keep was made frighteningly clear. Jinn, meanwhile, made his way through one of the passages on the far shore. Natural rock soon gave way to worked stone and a familiar dragon motif. The prudent choice seemed to be to await his companions rather than forge into the unknown depths. When the party had reconvened, and given Kesmon time to recover from their run-in with the bonesucking aberration, the group carefully made their way into the tunnels. A cave-in attracted another cluster of the grub-like creatures they'd confronted earlier. Put on guard, the Dragon Punchers stealthily picked their way down the corridor until it sloped gently downward and disappeared into a caustic mist. After some debate, they backtracked into the unexplored passage. Jinn left the group to scout ahead. Deeper within he found the source of the unsettling giggling they had been hearing. The rogue reported back seeing a huge entity, insectoid and horrifying, sitting amidst dense webbing and surrounded by more of the grublike creatures they'd encountered previously. At the heart of this space a crystal jutted out from the ley line, a corrupted dragon scale embedded within. The Dragon Punchers, sure that they'd stumbled upon Velia's work, began to plan their assault.Character(s) interacted with
