Into the Mad Cleric's Crpyt part 2: The Gate of Death Report

General Summary

Continuing through the Mad Clerics Reliquary, our adventurers solve its puzzles and thwart its traps and finally they come to the Tomb of Jal'Zedh where the Diadem is held.   They meet very little resistance following the encounter with the ghouls. Strangely enough, there is the body of a dead demon lying in the Tomb of Jal'Zedh.   After recovering the Diadem, the party figures out the in order to find the maze they must enter their dreams. However, as they resurfaced from the Reliquary, they were greeted by an apocalyptic, demonic invasion of Ravnica. They rushed to see Lavinia in order to report their success in recovering the artifact. However, she was far too busy to deal with it.   Kira suggested that the party take time to rest. Once asleep, the party entered into the velvet room, but this time they were not greeted by Igor. They were introduced to a maze through the velvet room that required them to solve 3 puzzles.   During the Hall of Mirrors puzzle, Roy, Caspian, and Kira were all tormented with images of loved ones dead or accosting them. Both Kira and Caspian were able to break free from this trance but Roy was profoundly touched by this torture.   Eventually, the party makes their way to the Magician's Knot. Gey quickly reaches for the knot but his hand is slapped away by Jace. Jace then teleports the party above Ravnica. From there, the party can see the wide spread destruction of Ravnica with greater clarity.   Ignoring Jace's warnings about the use of the knot, Gey wishes for the most satisfactory ending to be fulfilled. Upon doing so, Ravnica disappeared from its reality and reappeared in Giaphis as a floating island off the south western shore of Ophira.   Our Heroes awake laying in a grassy field, staring up at the sky.
