Session 4, Herbalism and Fanaticism

General Summary

While Reinhardt and Firion began training with the Herbalists, Tiblamir and Adrian decided to spend the week relaxing and taking care of D Rank requests for the Guild as the town buzzed with excitement over the coming festival to celebrate Ser Percival's engagement in Tresutadt. Because of this, the Guild received an increasing number of escort requests from travelers who would be braving the road, and other adventurers from the Heartland, Clovergarde, and Diamondfeld branches would arrive in Haven to alleviate the workload.
During their training, Reinhardt convinced Firion to try reaching out to Sunbird in an attempt to overcome his ingrained prejudices, which he did with mixed results.
During this time, Tiblamir noticed the chapel acolytes loitering around the residential areas of the town, seemingly in search of something. After following them, he learned that the Reverend Mother had ordered them to search for Harald and Minnie and began to search for them himself, turning to beggars and red ice addicts for information. Though the beggars didn't know anything, he learned that there was supposedly a red ice supplier in Treustadt, and that a "shiny man" sent by an individual named "Cyrus" would sometimes bring red ice to the users in Haven. Eventually, Tiblamir learned that a male elf and a red-haired woman had been seen at the Vilemyr Inn. After waiting there for several hours, he encountered Harald and warned him that the Reverend Mother and her acolytes were searching for them, and may be infatuated with Minnie. He also told him about his suspicions of Adrian, who had reacted strangely upon hearing that Frolo was also searching for them.
Frolo herself would visit the Guild Hall twice during the week wishing to speak with Reinhardt about Harald and Minnie over a fine meal. She seemed to like Tiblamir, voicing approval that she was no longer the only "moral" person in the festering town of Haven, even confessing that she would have preferred a post at a larger, more prominent city. She voiced her concerns that Harald had some kind of leverage over Minnie and was coercing her to do unspeakable things. She feared that Haven was in danger and that the pair were plotting something in the town. Reinhardt, wanting to protect Harald and Minnie and bitter about Frolo's racial prejudices, refused her and the two parted in anger.
At Firion's request, the party also spent a night carousing with locals at a tavern as he questioned them about their lives after the war. Upon completing his Apothecary training, Firion and Tiblamir accompanied the Herbalists to the weekly church service where they met with Guildmaster Haywood and Frolo and Firion would invite Shayna to accompany them to Treustadt for the festival.
The following day, the wagon Firion had commissioned was completed, and after another day of preparation, they accepted the request to investigate the suspicious Dire Wolf activity to the South of Haven. When they arrived at the site of their ambush, they spent some time discussing how to approach the contract before they were once again ambushed by the intelligent wolves. They fended them off, and after a brief dialogue, they decided that Adrian would remain behind to watch the wagon and horses while Tiblamir would do his best to track the wolves to their den.
