Session 37: Stormy weather....

General Summary

The group begins in the central, round mech space of the Vathirond lab. The group continues to explore the labs and ensure they cover all nooks and cranies. Much is found at that point, with details revealed in strange moaning hallways where undead creatures are kept in solitary cells. One, Ulgrive, nearly tricks the group into opening the door, but remains untouched as it's nature becomes known. It seems some undead can talk.   Further down, is a strange lab where entire bodies are kept, but most chambers are empty. The large central one holds a dormant creature, looking like a stretched out humanoid, with dolphin-like grey-blue skin and red eyes. The group leaves it in its dormant state and explore upstairs. There they find the remnants of sleeping quarters, each empty and barren... until the end, where the room of what would be the leader of the labs slept. A large chest reveals a journal (and other items) that depict the finding of a spy among them, leading to many dead. The person himself, well his skeleton, is still in the bed, decomposed. After a medical investigation, it is said that he either died of an untraceable poison, or had a heart attack.   The group debates the implication of the lab and what to do with. It is assessed that the place, during war time, crossed many moral borders, but not legal ones, as experiments on undead were not illegal during war time. The idea of them going beyond the war though, could imply war crimes, and deep issues. The group seals the place and halls, marks the presences of undead in the undead hall, packs the gear and leaves, taking for the trains.   ___________   Quick note, Trajan had a flash vision to remind of the previous, but this time, he could also see the golden thread from the net protecting Eavaan go to Senra and Astara as well, but the joining point at Astara looks to be rotting.
