Session 53: Bounces off me and sticks on you... Report
General Summary
The battle continued, chipping away at each other with some flair and style. As the last of the Trajan and friends group went down, Azata was declared victorious, after some clever spell casting and Branding smite from Nina came in clutch. The queen personally congratulated the winner and gave them access to the castle. The news and fans stuck around for those that remain (Trajan, having lost, fled the scene) and looked to give attention, shake hands and built a fandom. OOCly, level 6 was obtained. GAME BREAK The group discusses and debates whether or not to continue with the guild or let it be. They all gather back at the local pub, to talk and work with helping Trajan get over his loss. The vote goes to sticking with the Wayfinders, helped a bit by learning of the next missions available for the group, including one that pays 4,500gp with a diplomacy title. Wanting to negotiate the fee for continuing to be part of the guild, Trajan determindly rushed to their front door to find Kisha and Antique present. There he tried to call for a meeting with the owner, only to find that Boroman isn't really the master of the guild, but the founder. With his ongoing illness, his power is greatly diminished, more of a consultant on important matters as needed. The council rules the Foundation, but with limits given the debts and money troubles they face. It was confirmed that though the group had a large impact on improving the situation, the guild still swims in debt, and the Sharn branch is now forever closed. Still, at this point the Fairhaven branch is doing rather well and is managing to keep their head above water. With peer pressure and most of the group vouching to back the guild, the group paid their due, and chose to pick the diplomacy mission, where they would only get the details of the job once they would meet the patron there: King Kaius (the third) himself. There they will discover what the job is. The group then opted for travel by ship, which they will soon depart for. Eavaan and Nina checked on Ugtoth, the Warforged engineer at Nina's workshop and found him halfway through his job. Astara then checked from the main desk's sending phone and contacted Yvan. She tried to play innocent but he confirmed, though refusing to be blunt, that he knew "she and the others had been naughty". Still, he invited her for tea, reminding that she would have made a wonderful specimen. Freaked out, Astara ended the call, though still with normal and proper goodbyes, before rushing everyone to Eavaan's home for a talk. END GAME
