Session 32: The aftermath of first death Report

General Summary

The game start with everyone breaking their different path. After an emotional embrace, Twig informs the group he is leaving for Sharn and joining Quamara to take a break from all of this. Astara and Trajan go to Eavaan's home for a rest, and Nina goes home to hyperfocus on Many's repairs.   Everything kicked into high gear the next day. Nina went book searching at the Golden Scales school of business, searching for legal loopholes to exploit. She's found a few:  

1. The group could set itself as Irena's legal guardian
2. They could find proof of coercioun against Irena
3. They can use her age as a minor
4. They could get a phychiatric evaluation to proove she's brainwashed and not in her right mind.

  Astara then went to House Jorasco, where they visited the high class, fancy hospital of the halfling family of healers. They found it highly staffed and were able to gain access with a convincing (and truthful) story of being in Irena's debt, and bringing food to Irena. They found her on the 6th floor, in the wing for care of the criminal, where those in care are cuffed to the bed with magic suppressing cuffs. Yet, she didn't seem that bothered, instead revelling in a Jello for the first time. Tanantala, looking exhausted, had clearly been there all night. Astara convinced Tanantala to take a nap in the nearby chair and talked to Irena, finding a poorly treated, and brainwashed child. She explained that she had lived underground (much like Nina) and spoke of a need to overthrow the Usurpers who brought weakness to Aerenal. Explained that they knew little of Nina, but that Nina couldn't go back because she was the 'unpure' one.   At the end of this, Astara also contacted Kor ir'Wynarn who listened and made arrangements to speak with the Queen. He then told Astara he would send a carriage to pick her up for an interrogation, to get the full story.   Eavaan on their end went to the Korranberg's main office and spoke to Hirfin. The staff there was so busy that Eavaan managed to walk right in. Hirfin welcomed them as assaulted them with questions, eating it right up. They noted down information about the lich, the flattery of the guards and information on situation. They then offered a spot on the Crystal to Eavaan for the next morning, to have a live interview, and then give a closing speech, addressing the population.   Eavaan then found Wrynn Sykes, attorney at law in their office. An attorney of good repute, charging 1gp per hour. They explained the situation and the idea, that found by Nina, to set a legal guardian to Irena was pitched and setup. Irena would have to agree and sign, in front of witnesses. Then he would evaluate Irena (consultation) and decide if he will take the job. He gave Eavaan a pile of documents to complete and return, including a space to summarize the situation at hand.   Trajan on his end, went to talk to Ulgur, the investor. The man was mad, thinking Trajan had gone over his head and just build on his own, leaving Ulgur's deal in the dust. Once that was clarified, Ulgur explained that he mustered 3,500gp with the investor to rebuild the dome to something more esteemed. Trajan's job now would be marketing and to find competitors.   Trajan then went back to HQ to find Kivi and located the dragonborn in the communal space, with bags ready to go. A frank conversation was had, and Kivi explained that they had to return to their master, Mystic, in Thrane. They did, however, invite Trajan to join them, at least for the road and visit Flamekeep for a time, to see where she is from. She'll have duty to fulfill after, but they could keep in touch. Trajan agreed, putting off his visit to Needor in Sharn for a time.   GAME END
