Session 46: The big board Report

General Summary

At the beginning of the session, we re-integrated Trajan through communication between scouts (Senra and Trajan). Nina, still down in her poker losses, continues to play. Eavaan went in to talk to Orana. Bring up certain topics, such as being sent from Sarlona (Insight picked up that the reaction to that information raised suspicion) and asking to speak to higher ups caused some issues, for reasons remaining unknown. At that point, Orana sent Genovia back to the board room and stood from her high seat (being a halfling) and went to a class file, and pushed a hidden button within. A secret door opened and Eavaan was introduced to Tirashana. From Eavaan's mind, their quorri panicked, informing Eavaan in a near heave of hyperventilation (or what that would be for one that does not breathe) that this is a Kalaraq, and that they need to run. A successful history check lead to the information that a Kalaraq is a high ranking general to the Dal Quor deity itself. The scene that was scene, was Tirashana, a Kalashtar slender woman with white hair talking to an entity in the mirror, clearly some form of Quori, with many eyes and a large orange one focused on the room. In quorri, the voice in the mirror hinted that it knew Eavaan. Using a tuning fork, Tirashana took that reveal to bow, and plane shift herself out. Orana attacked, and immediately downed Eavaan.   Feeling the mind link sever, Senra moved back to the board room and launched a fireball into the room, setting the entire table and other attendees on fire. One straight out died, and the other 3 took damage, some heavier than others. The loud blast was heard throughout the warehouse. Trajan broke through the door and barged in, and the pledges came to arms. Merta, Nina and Gwyneth fought back.   The fight in the main warehouse went well and easy, the pledges not highly powerful and Nina's aim pristine this day, taking them one after the other. Koji provided solid assistance to Merta and ensure little damage was done, while Gwyneth took a few out. Trajan fired a time or two but focused on running to the back, encountering Albert, the crazed old man trying to run out. With solid intimidation, the man surrendered to the capture and led him to the board room.   Astara, invisible at the door jumped in the room (mostly through ranged at first, then melee) tried to finish some of the corporate members out and get to Eavaan. Senra misty stepped to the table on fire and the fight broke all out. Taking damage, Astara made it to the door to view where Orana stood over an inert Eavaan, but also saw Senra take enough damage to go down. The special quorri blades, both solid and the summoned swords were devastating, but soon the group learned that this was offset with very low defensive skills (low AC) and fought back. Astara healed and distributed potions where she could, activating her halo spores and realized these biological things were now on her side. Trajan jumped in the room to fire and found himself quite hurt. The distance of the hall being long, Merta and Nina were dashing to catch up, ending with some lethal damage in the last round prior to game's end (Nina's still dishing out head shots like they are candy).   The game ends with most hurt but everyone back up, and only Orana fighting, and Albert in the corner, his hands up in surrender for now. Everyone else to this point, litering the floor. The table is still on fire and the fire is beginning to spread.   GAME END
