Session 63: The Airdocks Report

General Summary

The group started off split, with Trajan, Senra and Astara at the top of the Airdocks to fight on Ulgor, aiming for a capture. The fight was quick and set, as the man was bear-sat on then shackled. The queen escaped on the airship to a destination unknown, and Ulgor was brought back to the castle.   There, he was interrogated with a mixture of Detect Thoughts from Senra and Eavaan, and Nina suggested the use of Zone of Truth. There are hints here and about in the dwarf's surface thoughts.. passing the points of his love of beards.. that hint to foul play more advanced, to something beyond his arrogance and confidence that this is not enough to foil their plan.   A deep dive reveals much, as it becomes clear that there is more than one way to create evil Quorri on Eberron:

1. A kalaraq (high ranking quorri) can plant a seed in a person to take them over - this is rarely done
2. A race of humans is bred in a lab and grown to attach to quorri spirits, same as with the Kalashtar - in Stormholme
3. Yvan has found a medical procedure to summon a quorri in a host (new) and is finding ways to do this en-mass

  Furthermore, you confirmed that the rest of the evil Quorri in Aundair is now stationned in the Trajandome, or are weaker inspired in hiding doing spying and information gathering through the town (they are invisibles, nobodies). Sated, you left Ulgor to the paladins to imprison, and they will judge him when the Queen returns. The rescued lady (maid) is resting and recovering at the castle.   The group then rushed to the Trajandome and after MUCH searching, found the secret doors to the lower layer and hidden basement, where 4 quorris engaged. Shouting in the not secret basement alerted them, and had them on the ready, so when Senra arrived, they attacked. Split, some had to spend their turns dashing to the action. Merta and Eavaan were next on the scene, and Horse-stara joined next. Nina has yet to descend and Trajan recently arrived. Though many of them or burnt by fireball, slashes and the likes, many slowed, Senra went down many times, and Merta took much damage.   The battle will resume next session END GAME
