Vasquese Park Report

General Summary

Two strangers were drawn to a small park in Los Feliz. One was beach bum searching for purpose. The other a ranger displaced in time. The two began to bond when the beach bum recognized his brother, Brandon Reeves, sitting at a nearby cafe. After a brief investigation by the ranger and some hacky sacks by the surfer bro they discovered that Brandon was now working as a club promoter. They took a flier for his party that night.   Then the earthquakes started. A shirtless albino dwarf and a fifteen year old wearing a very expensive jacket seemed to perform a ritual that shook the park three times. Then the basilisk emerged along with 5 kobold warriors. The ranger made quick work of the kobolds while the beach bum tackled the Albino Dwarf. A kindly old man blessed the two warriors as he ran to save a woman who was turning into stone. As "The Kid" tried to flee the scene the Arizona Ranger brought him down with the Big Iron on his hip and some fae magiks.   The old man convinced the two to follow him to the Stargazer Coffee House. In the back room he reveiled himself as a Coutal. He told them of the Umbra Arcana and the rising darkness in the city.    The city needs heroes and they stepped forward.

Defeated the Basilisk of Vasquese Park, Discovered the secret magical world of LA, Sent the albino dwarf “downtown,” Have “The Kid” in the custody of the “Los Feliz Neighborhood Watch.”
