Day 1 Undermountain - Report
General Summary
Stone creature steps out and makes a massive screech. Jarax picked up "I don't think they're the Red Ones." Attempt to make peace by Iago showing his crystal from the space pirates. People been coming through trying to take this Sordalite as it's very powerful. We jump in mine carts and head through a crazy roller coaster. We arrive at a robust Drawven undercity. It's a chill, happy operation. Two entrances have been boarded up from the inside. Sauvik greets Ren in the main building. Iago notices the overall vibe is a little strange - no children/old people. He speaks gnomish with the badass blacksmith who is nervous about respect of the Forebearers. He nervously describes people in red. Soma and Jornah eavesdrop on Ren's conversation. Ren's arm is SHINY AND METAL with PLATES UP TOP. Looking to upgrade her RUSTY MECHANICAL REMOVABLE ARM!? It's Fae Magic. A small woman GITDREC shuffles up and inspects the arm.Q Says we're guests here. It's also dangerous here in the Undermountain. THE CAMP OF STRONGCHEST. There's a torch under the boards to the East. (Investigate this). Feel like we're being watched, like a little more than normal, not because we're different, but watching EVERYTHING we do. Scrutinized and followed. Iago notices the statue in the middle is like an Alter but not sure who it is. Not as artificiery as it should be - more built for war. All of the men all have shaved heads. Soma notices there are sword scratches in the wall of the building. Blacksmith says "you're gonna get me killed too for speaking Gnomish. The one's who wear red are vicious." We are not welcome from the dwarves. Blacksmith tells Iago to watch for his signal. Made several protective preparations before long rest. Ren sees Dwarven runes lining the walls, casts a protective aura, tells us what's up, this room is compromised, and then makes the private hut. Ren and Soma put together that Bo found meat at the statue, it doesn't look like anyone is doing anything, seems like the religion of the work, although looks like a dwarf, doesn't fit in. And the color RED makes us think of Kal Rel.
