The Cursed Sands of Rotehn-Onkh

Deep in the lands of Kor'Loche, stretching for thousands of square miles is the desert of Rotehn-Onkh. The desert was once home to a mysterious and powerful ancient kingdom that fell to ruin in a time forgotten by history itself. Today, the harsh desert sun is braved by explorers and scholars of all kinds who seek the knowledge and treasure held in the ancient ruins of the kingdom, buried beneath the sands.   Our tale begins in Tomeeya's Pearl, a bustling hub of merchants and explorers that formed around a natural oasis in the midst of Rotehn-Onkh. In this town, a ragtag group of strangers will find themselves brought together by chance to face down an evil cult threatening to awaken something dark stirring beneath the desert sands. In the process, they will uncover the history of the region and become very very rich. Either that, or they'll die trying.
