Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins - The End of Pissboy

General Summary

Our adventure begins!   Three days ago, on the 17th of Laeroth in the early morning hours during a terrible storm, a group of armed individuals broke into a home. After taking the homeowner, the leader did something that caused the home to explode. The subsequent fire burned down the neighborhood. The city wrote it off as a lightning strike, which has caused large fires in the past.   Three days later, on the 20th of Laeroth, we focus down, early in the morning, around 6AM, on a half orc leaving her home. Inhe heard about a job down at the docks last night from Daloruk Aleheart, the owner of The Golden Lobster. Before she can leave she is stopped by her neighbor, Linn Millea, who offers to bring her extra food that night at Daloruk's.   Inhe arrives at the docks and receives an extra job from the dock master, a Goblin named Pock. After emptying the cargo of the ship "The Argenta" from Arnsholdi, Inhe located, with minor difficulty, three barrels marked with white X's. She delivered them to the Morningwing estate in Shim'rin. On her way there she explored one barrel to find many large, fist sized uncut gemstones buried beneath the coal. She then returned to the docks to reap her reward.   Around noon on the same day, Lenihlra wakes up around noon with the hot sun streaming down. Having tried to out drink the dwarven owner of the bar she sleeps in, Daloruk, she is a bit hungover. As she has an ale to cure her illness, she notices three things: one individual with papers strewn about a table, another passed out on one table, and a guard hammering up a notice to the board.   She reads the notice, which is a help wanted ad to clean up a neighborhood struck by lightning, and heads there. While helping to clear out the rubble, she finds a pair of gold earrings, and a large uncut emerald, which she keeps.   Returning to the bar around 7, Inhe is greeted by an old foe, Pissboy & His Crew. Pissboy and his crew - Hubys and Nym - engage in a fistfight with Inhe. Lenihlra joins the fray from a distance, casting fear to scare Pissboy. Nym is frightened by the stares of Jacquora - who has only now woken up from the table she was sleeping at. Inhe gets a couple of good punches in, as does Pissboy. As PB takes a last swing at Inhe before being frightened into leaving, he tells Inhe something that sends Inhe into a rage. In an instant, she is pummeling PB's head in, unintentionally killing the half orc brute.   The trio clean up the bar and bring back the patrons and enjoy a few drinks on Inhe, thanks for their help during the fight. We find out Jacquora is a human ranger. She is in town having just turned in a bounty. Later during the night, Inhe notes that her neighbor has not yet returned with food to the bar. Even later, the trio sees the figure that was at the bar all day quickly stand up and leave.   They follow her through the city towards Inhe's neighborhood. It seems as if she's heading straight for her house. However, at last moment she takes a right turn and head towards Linn's House. The group notices that Linn's door has been smashed in. As they sneak into the house, they're suddenly surrounded by three large vine creatures.
