Session 1: Ambush! Report

General Summary

While walking along the road one day, three independent travelers were ambushed by a group of six Khadorans near an old battlesite. Forced back to back to back, Haley Dryden, Meara Greyden, and Grindar Slaughterborn fought hard.

Haley fired a quick two shots, one at each of both of the Khadoran Kayazy on the left side of the road.

One of the Kayazy fired a shot at Haley missing wide, who returned fire and killed them.

The Khadoran Widowmakers that attacked from behind the three circled, one left, one right. Each took a shot with their powerful rifles against the trollkin Grindar. Nothing penetrated the warrior's plate armor.

Grindar strode off the left side of the road and sliced a Khadoran Widowmaker in half with his massive hooked sword.

The Widowmaker retreated, arguing to their remaining "komrades" that the bounty would never be worth this slaughter.

Meara, ever the stern officer, issued a warning in Khardic to the Winterguard soldiers, ordering them to retreat if they valued their lives. They did, promptly.

The three had a brief argument as to the nature of the attack, with Meara arguing against unnecessary killing, and Haley taking the staunch position that the only good Khadoran is a dead one. Meara told the two what she knew from the brief exchange with the Khadorans.
