Chapter 5, Verse 9: Stronghold Test Run #24 Report

General Summary

The Bunch with the help of another individual from the Council were able to infiltrate a hidden hideout under the guise of strong illusion magic in the outskirts of Emon. The Bunch took care, sort of, on entering the abandoned looking building to search for any clues as to where to go. Rorin had a moment of growth as he checked the doors for traps before trying to proceed through and into the abandon house. However, this moment was quickly shadowed by his desire to try and swindle found coin away from the party.   The Bunch, after searching the upper floors, went into the basement where there was torch light coming up from. In there they found a small cell of the Cult of Nature's Death performing their ritual service. Finding a room full of cloaks, the Bunch donned the robes in hopes to blend in and sneak attack the group. It, however, did not goes as planned as Aleph used his Tidal Wave spell on the congregation causing them to get washed around and take damage, but not enough to drop them. Using his quick wit, Aleph convinced them that he was cleansing them of their righteousness and in the name of the Primals. Rorin then took the stage and spun another crazy tale of what the group was doing there, buying time for Blovik to sneak around the rest of the basement to find sleeping Antipaladins and other dangers.   A full on fight broke out and the group was able to subdue and kill the cult members without much trouble.
