Shipwrecked Pt. 8 Report

General Summary

The party feasted with Oriax, the Fire Giant king, and agreed to lead an assault on The Kraken's temple.  Billy Bob traded his golden fiddle for a Sword of Eldritch blast, allowing him to use his CHA for attack and damage rolls with the weapon, and giving him the ability to cast Eldritch Blast as a 1st level warlock.  He managed to resist the call of the sword's power...for now.   After defeating the three girillions guarding the entrance to the ruined city, the party came across two giant apes guarding the entrance to the temple.  Rayuuv ordered an artillery strike on the giant apes, who were then ambushed by Oriax's fire newts.  The party snuck past the apes while they preoccupied with the melee.   Inside the temple the party found a group of kua-toa conducting some sort of ritual by an underground lake.  Billy Bob summoned his pet shark, Chunky, who attacked the kua-toa priest, ending the ritual and allowing the party to get the jump on the kua-toa.  The kua-toa were summarily defeated, and the party prepares for the final showdown with The Kraken
