Hunting the Arch Magus pt. 13 Report

General Summary

The Scions explored Theodosius's lair. Rather than fighting the mutated sharks, Rayuuv parts the water and ends up suffocating both of them.   After finding two locked doors the party foils an assassin, who tells them that anything they do would be nowhere near as bad as what Theodosius has done to Bonesaw. With elaborating further, he slits his own throat when Mork drops him on the ground.   The Scions find two bodies, one human and one elf, dressed in white and gold robes denoting high rank within Nikea. Near both bodies are notes to the Arch Magus reporting that Theodosius has wavered from the cause and has become fixated on ridding the city of Laconins.   Inside what looks like a planning room the Scions find a mockup of Krom's temple. After some investigation they discover math equations, and Rayuuv deduces that they are engineering equations used to figure out the amount of explosives needed to level the temple.   While searching through Theodosius's chamber Theodosius himself appears and incapacitates Magda with what appears to be a black bolt of lightning. A melee ensues, and Elmoira quickly grabs Hektor's holy symbol to summon him to battle. With a laugh, Theodosius banishes Hektor and retreats to the bathroom.   An assassin appears behind Elomira as the fight continues...
